Who We Are

Hello! We are Susana and Eva, and we founded Vía Heraclia to begin our journey through history.

Vía Heraclia was founded in 2014 with a clear mission: to share our passion for history and culture through tourism and education. We are dedicated to promoting our cultural, ethnological and historical heritage, helping to preserve, share, experience and enjoy it.

Our goal is for every town and village to become the main character in its own history, offering visitors a unique and personal experience through historical routes, original cultural activities and educational workshops that encourage children to enjoy, understand and respect their heritage.

We firmly believe in the extraordinary potential of the Valencian Community, and of Spain as a whole. For centuries, many different civilisations have shaped this land, leaving behind an exceptional architectural, monumental and natural heritage. It is a unique legacy that deserves to be protected, celebrated and passed on to future generations.

We are who we are because of those who came before us.

What We Are Do

What is written endures. Thanks to the work of historians, archaeologists, writers, chroniclers, archivists and people passionate about culture and history, nothing is forgotten.

How can we recover history and truly enjoy it?

Without a doubt, by experiencing it first-hand.

At Vía Heraclia, we are committed to researching and documenting our cultural, historical and ethnological heritage, always using accredited documents and academic research as the foundation for creating our cultural projects and educational activities.

With the right resources, a local historical event, the story of an important figure, a remarkable building, a book or an old tradition can be brought to life in a truly magical way…

Because if we already have a wonderful history… why should we invent one?

Meet Our Team

Behind every guided tour, workshop, heritage route and cultural project is a team united by the same passion: bringing history and cultural heritage closer to people.

Before every activity, there are hours of research, documentation, archival work, reading historical sources and talking to the people who know each place best. We believe that only by researching and understanding the past can we share it in a way that is accurate, engaging and inspiring.

We are a small team, and that is one of our greatest strengths. It allows us to work closely with local councils, schools, museums and associations, creating experiences tailored to every project and every audience.

Our goal has remained the same since the very beginning: to help every person discover that behind every monument, every street and every landscape, there is always a story waiting to be told.
