
“Memories of a War” in Alaquàs
On this route, we will visit different places in the town that played an important role in one of the saddest conflicts in our history: the Spanish Civil War. We will discover the shelters built in Alaquàs during the conflict, as well as some important local figures who left their mark on this period of history.
The activity also includes a guided visit to the Paterna Cemetery, the excavations of the mass graves and the Paredón, known as the Paredón de España.
Note: Visitors must travel to Paterna Cemetery in their own vehicle.
