NEW! – Cyclotourism: Route “Aldaia – Alaquàs: Heritage between Two Towns”
The towns of Aldaia and Alaquàs have shared the same time and space for centuries, growing and developing together. However, history has given each town its own unique identity.
We invite you to travel back to the origins of Alaquàs and Aldaia and discover how their history has evolved over time. Explore different cultures, including Roman, Muslim and Christian, and discover different periods, such as the Middle Ages, the Valencian Golden Age and the Renaissance. Visit Alaquàs Castle, a National Historic-Artistic Monument, and the Ángel Blay workshop, the last workshop in the world preserving the traditional craft of making mother-of-pearl fans.
These visits are open to individuals, groups and associations.
